Artist Nick Cave and The Park Avenue Armory invited me to curate a series of activations for the artist’s larger than life installation, Chase. Throughout the month of June I commissioned the world’s leading DJs, both emerging and established, to spin in the Wade Thompson Drill Hall each weekend. The massive hall was transformed into a daytime disco that welcomed all walks of life to quite literally “Let Go” on the dance floor. DJ’s included Joe Claussel, Tedd Patterson, Ana Matronic, Johnny Dynell and JD Samson to name a few. My curatorial highlight of the month long installation culminated in The Freedom Ball. Over 1000 guests attended in their most outrageous outfit for this high octane evening of fashion, dance, and house music.

They competed for $20K in cash prizes for best looks. I invited APPARATUS, House of Yes, Ladyfag, Papi Juice, Saada of Everyday People, Opening Ceremony, TELFAR, and VISIONAIRE to host the extravaganza. Legendary DJ Marshall Jefferson was on deck for the duration of the event. The bar was generously sponsored by Milagro Tequila.
